Instructions

Cover and blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth and well combined. Add the pure maple syrup then blend for a few more seconds to mix it evenly.
  2. Strain the Mixture: Place a fine mesh strainer over a large bowl. Pour the blended mixture through the strainer to remove the pulp, pressing gently to extract as much liquid as possible while leaving behind fibrous solids.
  3. Chill and Serve: Transfer the strained agua fresca into a large pitcher filled with ice. This will keep the drink refreshingly cold and ready to serve.
  4. Prepare Glasses: Fill serving glasses with ice and pour 1 ounce of gin or vodka per cup over the ice, if desired. Pour the chilled agua fresca over the alcohol or serve as is for a non-alcoholic version.
